CHEF SERVICES & MENU – CASA CALLAWAY
MEAL PLANNING
You can plan your meals in advance or you can sit down with the Chef to discuss your meals upon arrival. If there’s a particular meal you’d like, or if you have food allergies or preferences, please discuss this with her. Below is the menu for the villa. Please indicate any allergies or preferences before arrival. Please remember that groceries, delivery of groceries & gratuities are extra and to be paid in cash to the villa manager Masha. See below for more information.
CHEF SERVICES& HOURS
The Chef services are included for breakfast and lunch 6 days per week. Guests are responsible for the cost of groceries, delivery of groceries (minimal) + gratuities to the Chef, manager & housekeeper. Masha can work with you to plan a budget but it’s based solely on your menu choices.
Chef Hours: 9:00 AM arrival – 3:00 PM departure. Chef offers her services 6 days per week. (Chef has one day off per week.)
If the Chef is asked to arrive earlier or leave later, there will be an extra charge issued by our villa manager.
Services Included: Breakfast & lunch are served 6 days a week. Please indicate if any guest has food allergies.
Breakfast Hours: Typically, breakfast is served between 9:30& 10:30am.
Lunch Hours: Around 2pm.
DINNER SERVICE NOT INCLUDED – AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
If you wish to have Chef prepare dinner, it will be based on her availability. Info is below on her rates. The groceries, delivery of groceries, and gratuity applies plus the Chef service’s rate. The rates are in USD per person. Please keep in mind that Playa del Carmen has an amazing dining scene; we can recommend some restaurants to suit your preferences.
DINNER RATES (Groceries, grocery delivery & gratuity are extra)
Adult:12 years & up: $40 per person
Kids: 5-11: $20
Children: Under 5 is free
Speciality Menu: $50 (items such as surf & turf, lamb etc.)
Please remember that Playa del Carmen has an amazing dining scene. You must check it out!
GROCERIES & GRATUITIES
It is difficult to quote a grocery budget without knowing what menus you choose. Once you decide on a menu, Masha will do her best to give you a quote if necessary. If you choose items such as surf & turf or speciality items then the cost will be higher.
GRATUITIES
Due to the hands-on level of service that the staff offer, a gratuity to the staff is highly appreciated. The staff offer 5 star service to ensure our guests have a memorable stay! (At your disrection of course & if you wish, Masha can guide you on this!)
Please remember that all groceries & gratuities etc. are to be paid in USD cash. Please be prepared to bring the cash with you as we are not set up to take credit or debit cards. If necessary, you can take money out at local ATMs but please ensure you do so within a bank and not a street ATM as they can be compromised.
