RENTAL PAYMENT PROCESS
When booking through VRBO, your rental payment is made directly to Playa Beach Getaways-not VRBO. VRBO will only charge your credit card for its booking fee.Your VRBO booking page clearly shows the amounts listed as "Due to VRBO" and "Due to Manager."Before booking, we recommend contacting VRBO at 1-877-202-4291 to confirm this payment arrangement. Our VRBO ID is 04DATS Tonya Sarina.Your rental payment is due upon booking. Once your reservation is confirmed, we will send you a secure online payment link for the rental amount.
 
THINGS WE CANNOT CONTROL
*During the warmer spring & summer months (or sometimes earlier), the Mexican Caribbean may experience sargassum, a naturally occurring seaweed phenomenon affecting areas from Florida and Texas to destinations throughout the Caribbean. We cannot predict when or if it will arrive, how much there will be, or whether it will affect swimming or beach use. Beaches are cleaned with tractors and workers whenever possible to help minimize accumulation and any resulting sulfur odor. Conditions can change daily, so we encourage guests to educate themselves about sargassum before booking to avoid surprises.
*We cannot control music or noise from outside the complex or neighboring beach clubs. Playa del Carmen is an international tourist destination, & our location is fun, lively and vibrant. The condo has hurricane-rated doors and windows that help reduce outside noise. Our complex observes quiet hours from 11 PM-9 AM for the comfort of all guests.
*Construction that began in 2022 was halted due to permit issues for over 2 years. Should it resume, we will notify our guests. To date, most guests have not been affected.
*On the rare occasion of a city-wide power or water outage, these services are beyond our control & responsibility.
*We cannot control the weather, ocean conditions, sargassum or natural beach erosion. What we can provide is a beautiful, well-appointed condo with spectacular ocean views, welcoming staff & an exceptional location.
