“Awesome!!! Our first family trip in Mexico, Playa Del Carmen”

Wow! This was our best family trip ever! I have three small kids, 8, 6, 4 and was really nervous about taking them to Mexico and staying right on the oceanfront (my two younger kids don’t swim and both have special needs). Tonya helped ease my nerves with all her knowledge and expertise from arranging a private van to meet us at the airport to where to eat or buy groceries if we decided to cook on the fabulous private roof top deck. The staff at Luna Encantada were all so helpful! Adin, a staff member there, made sure my kids had enough shade while building sand castles and even made them grasshoppers out of palm leaves.
The cleaning staff were friendly and professional. We never had to worry about sandy towels since the staff left us an endless supply. Not to mention, there is a washer and dryer if you were to ever run out.
Security is 24 hours a day. We never felt unsafe in our condo. There was always someone to greet us at the gate after an excursion out. Everyone was so friendly and kid friendly!
The view is amazing! The sound of the ocean waves in the evening lulled me to sleep every night. Beds are extremely comfortable, even the trundle beds.
All in all, this was a trip we’ll remember for years to come. My children are already planning the same trip for next year!

We stayed at condo Reef 403 in October 2013. It was not our first time in Playa but the first time we stayed at El Faro. We enjoyed our vacation tremendously. The location is absolutely perfect: close to shopping, restaurants, beach – everything. Our favorite restaurant is Zenzi next door: the food, drinks are unbeatable.
The condo itself is very quiet and nice too: there are basic appliances, plates, pots and pans, glasses, etc. We particularly enjoyed free phone calls to the US and in-room internet. When we got there first there were a few things missing or not working. We contacted the manager in the US (Tonya) and we got what we needed within a couple of hours even though it was 6 pm. Everything else was fixed the next day. We were told that the reason some things were missing or not working was due to them switching management companies, and I have to say that the new management company is great. It is located right across the street and things get fixed within only few hours. Their representative (Angie) stopped by every day to make sure that we did not need anything. We needed filters changed in the air-conditioner in the second room, Angie asked us what time would be most convenient and by the time we were back from the beach it was done.
One thing that we missed was the instructions on how to use TV, AC, etc. We pressed a button on the TV remote control and lost TV programing until Angie stopped by. She also had to show us how to use the AC so it would not blow straight at us when we are asleep. And the hot tub did not work the whole time we were there but we got credit for that which was fair.
It was our favorite vacation in Playa del Carmen so far.

This is our 3rd year at Luna Encantada and our 2nd in Unit C3. Earlier years were great but this year the facility seems to have new life. Upon our arrival (11 people in 2 units C3 and D3) we were greeted enthusiastically by Alberto the condo manager. Things just got better. Paco the beach attendant was helpful and charming. Jose checked on us daily to make sure everything was well. Any requests were promptly taken care of. We had the opportunity to meet the condo association president also and was very impressed. New doors. Painted walls and railings. Light fixtures all working and a wonderful staff. I could not be more pleased with the facility and it’s people.

We stayed in unit E1 for two weeks in February & March and it was absolutely perfect for me, my husband and my mother in law. This first floor condo was very accessible for my mother in law who has mobility issues yet it was very private, secure and luxurious. Unlike staying at a large resort, we had a private beach and access to 5th avenue for shopping, groceries and an assortment of 1/2 star to 5 star restaurants. We had freedom and peace of mind staying at Luna – after a beautiful day in the sun, Mom would settle in and read/watch tv while hubby and I would often go for a drink on 5th ave. The condo itself has a great layout, lots of space and privacy for everyone — the beds were super-comfy. I disagree that the beds are uncomfortable nor did hear any water pump noise at all. The entire staff works to assure all guests satisfaction and the property is exceptionally well maintained. It was our first ever condo rental after many all-inclusive resorts and this is how we’ll roll from now on. Special thanks to Tonya for making this our best trip ever.

We have stayed here many times and have never been disappointed. The upper pool was very nice to relax by and the lower pool was so peaceful surrounded by all the lush plants. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the cleaning staff did a great job. It is 20 steps from 5th avenue and a block from the beach. We had a rooftop terrace with dining and lounging by the hot tub, along with a BBQ where we did up some fine steaks from the Mega store. Can’t wait to return.

What a perfect place to spend our honeymoon. The most beautiful property we’ve ever stayed in and so close to everything. Absolutely gorgeous views from the condo and the beach is steps away. If you require more than this to be happy, you need a therapist, not a vacation!

My family of 6 stayed in Luna Encantada C3 for one week and had the best vacation ever! The unit was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. The men at the front gate and the beach were extremely friendly and very eager to help with bags or putting up a beach umbrella. The location is absolutely perfect, with an amazing beach and great dining just steps away. We would love to return!

We have traveled extensively all over the world and always stay in 5-Star accommodations. We loved, loved, loved this place. Beautiful, clean, location is perfect. For the first time in my life, we are considering buying a unit here because we can see us living here in the future. The Ritz is a step down from this place.

Just completed my 4th stay at Luna Encantada. This is a great condo complex. C3 with the terrace roof top has the best views. The staff on site at Luna is equally as wonderful. Alberto & Benjamin are always very helpful and pleasant to talk with. The young man who sets up chairs, tables on the beach and will take a food or drink order makes this a 5+ stars place to stay. Incredible service that you will not find at most condos.

If you are looking for a lux condo on the beach with a pool, this is it!
Location is perfect, close to all the activities on 5th and the clubs but no noise from them. Bring your own snacks and drinks to the provided pool or beach loungers, even better, order from Wickies and have them bring to you. Management was very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay very much.
